There is a difference between being loud and being brave. The world often confuses the two.
We're told to be more.
Do more.
Prove more.
But some of the bravest women we know move through life with a quiet confidence.
They know who they are.
They don't need every room to approve of them.
They don't change who they are to fit every expectation placed upon them.
There is a steadiness about them.
A peace.
The kind that comes from being rooted in something deeper than circumstances.
Proverbs 31:25 says, "She is clothed in strength and dignity, and laughs without fear of the future."
What if bravery isn't about having no fear of the future?
What if it's about trusting that whatever comes, you'll meet it with grace?
Life has a way of presenting things we never planned for.
Unexpected opportunities.
Unexpected disappointments.
Days that unfold differently than we imagined.
Yet strength isn't found in controlling what happens next.
It's found in knowing that your worth, your identity, and your hope were never dependent on perfect circumstances to begin with.
This month, we've been holding onto the sentiment: Be Brave.
Not as a call to be fearless.
But as a reminder to stand confidently in who God created you to be.
There is courage in that.
Reflection for the month:
Where in your life would you feel more free if you stopped seeking approval and started trusting who God says you are?
